The Corporation always run out the innovative activities and project successfully for ever, for giving almost facilities to Kolhapur citizens and for the progress given of active city. Our college is one of them.

After converting the Municipality into the corporation the city has to rejuvenate. Taking into consideration of increasing population and extension of the city, road, water, health, library, gardens, play ground etc. necessary facilities are providing by sophisticated method or system. While constructing Keshavrao Bhosale Dream theater, Rankala Chowpati, Swimming Pools, Health and Medical Centers etc. on the principle of 'Bahujan Hitaya Bahujan Sukhaya' the city, cultivated and nourishes its beauty. In every section of the city and suburb, with the health centers there is Rajamata Jijabai Girl's High School, which is established in the central area of the city. Similarly there is a technical education center which provides job opportunity to women and girls in this field and also started night high school for poor and budding students because it will be convenient or that students who are earning in the day time for their families livelihood and also interested to take education. But in all this educational development there was a deficiency of college education so the corporation established our college to dispel this deficiency to develop college education. Also corporation taking into consideration to start the computer training activities in future.
